Whatever happened to Zacarias Moussaoui?
Remember the bumbling "20th hijacker" who raised so much of a flap in Minnesota that the FBI nailed him two weeks prior to 9-11?

Anything on his court case recently?

I haven't heard shit nor shivers about him since summer 2003.

Whatever happened to Zacarias Moussaoui?

2. The 4th Circuit Ct of Appeals overturned part of the trial judge's verdict
The Judge had ruled that ZM was entitled to question his accusers who are being held in secret detention. The case goes back for a new decision, I believe.

ZM is in federal custody, where he will likely remain for the rest of his life, however long that may be.

As for 9/11 and Iraqgate-related prosecutions, everything is in a dead lull. Fitzgerald has indicated that he likely won't prosecute for the notorious Plame outing, but he may seek perjury charges.

The US Attorney's offices and the Judiciary are basically acting as if nothing has happened, and those 5,000 Americans who've died needlessly since September 2001 have no legal standing or existence.

Rotten.

3. or Khalid Sheikh Ron Jeremy... the "mastermind" of the "planes operation"
Edited on Thu Apr-14-05 12:02 PM by thebigidea
you'd think they would've made a bigger deal about catching the ringleader, especially what with the election and all - though I guess keeping OBL around to use as a bogeyman is a better tradeoff?

but wait, they forget all about him too in favor of Saddam...

does... not... compute. Given Bush's ego, he would be swaggering about catching that guy if he could pronounce his name.

maybe he was killed during interrogation, so its kind of embarassing?

anyway, somebody let me know if I've missed updates on this or a webcast execution from whitehouse.gov featuring a crowing Bush getting overstimulated at the sight of it.
