Look, regardless of what the corporate media says, Eric Rudolph = terroris
Edited on Wed Apr-13-05 09:40 PM by Selatius
He kills and maims his victims no different than the fucking religious fundamentalist idiots in Hamas. Religious fundamentalism or militancy is a problem that afflicts both Arab and American society. He's not a "radical anti-abortionist." He's a damn terrorist.

What we should be talking about is the problems found with religious bigotry and the atmosphere it generates that can lead individuals to conclude that it's now okay to kill those who are considered less worthy or inferior. You think those folks who died at the health clinics wanted to die? Did the folks who bought plane tickets want to die slamming into the side of an office tower on that fateful day? You think people like Matthew Shepard or, I dunno, Anne Frank wanted to die because of who they were?

Oh no, it's a faggot! Oh no, it's a kike! What's the answer!? Death! They're infidels! They all deserve to burn in hell!

The question is how do we direct the national dialogue onto grounds that can be more constructive? Why can't we talk about the dangers of religious bigotry or bigotry of any kind for that matter? Haven't we seen enough bloodshed in history to learn from our mistakes? Are people really so utterly forgetful of the pain and misery these ideas have caused humanity?
