I can't believe the lengths or these SOB's push discerning America's collective aptitude on this subject.

Or, are we really that stupid as a population?

Edited for redundancy

I think instead I'll spend the evening shaving my eyeballs.

I'll leave it to the evangelicals. They love crappy boring programming.

it might be entertaining. If not, the remote is in reach.

Right now I'm watching Dateline's show on the "DaVinci Code" and imaging freeper heads exploding all over the country.

(I hope, I hope, I hope!)

THEN we'll see who the REAL Christians are and which ones are the Posers.

15. So what happens to the Third Temple ? Will they even mention it ?
If they DO have a Third Temple, is the Ark going to be in it and will the sacrificial system be restored (with the doves, bulls, etc., being sacrificed) ?

16. I'm gonna skip it.
It sounds both stupid and creepy. Also, my TiVo would tell the network that I watched it and I don't want to encourage them to spew more fundie crap into the airwaves. "Touched by an Angel" and "Joan of Arcadia" are silly enough, but their nondenominational faux spirituality is merely vapid and treacly. This thing is much worse because it specifically appeals to the wingnut Rapture freaks. Feh.

20. PLEASE tone the hate rhetoric down
I understand many of you loathe Christianity, or as you code word it 'extreme' 'wingnut' 'right' 'fundi' Christianity.
But assume for a moment that you might actually practice the tolerance you preach.
And check your hate at the DU door?
Freedom of religion would appreciate it.
Thank you!!!

The sort of Christian fundamentalism that the GOP, with the complicity of the news and entertainment business, is trying to foist off on this country is just as much a threat to democracy as any other kind of extremism. I reserve the right to express my intense dislike of any person or group that attempts to impose a particular religion on the rest of us. Creeps like Falwell and Dobson deserve to be called "radical clerics" just as much as any extremist Islamic mullah. I can't stand any of them and I refuse to apologize for that.

33. funny but........
today out of the blue i googled up my sn and i found a post of mine in religous freeper land..and they called me a lesbian...funny but the religous ones on that site don't know me..wonder how they came to that conclusion??
yes a very religious group...they know nothing of my religion..they know nothing of me...

so for them if they are freeping here...

my 30th wedding anniverary is in july...i have a wonderful husband and we are each others best friend..

i have a 27 yr old son..a marvelous son...4 yr college grad ..named to 3 top national honor societies.

and it would be a rude awakening to them both to find out i was anything but wife/best friend ..and mom!!

and as for faith i have strong faith but that is discussed only with my family!

i wholeheartedly agree with you ocelot...i appologise to no one about my disgust for people who have destroyed my country exploiting religion and my constitution!..the two do not belong together!!

see i respect the fight our forefathers fought for my freedoms!

and my father ,grandfather, husband and brothers ..to keep the separation of church and state!

May the God of my understanding slip his male member into the God of your understanding...

Unless sexual persuasions dictate some other form of satisfaction.

Tell me what to post, and by extension, what to think.

So...."Extreme Right-wingnut Fundie etc." is just a CODE WORD for ALL Chrisitianity?
What, you deny that there IS such a faction? You think ALL Chrisitans are the SAME?
*I* don't even think that.
Look who's tolerant now....

You're so FOS you resemble a port-a-potty at Woodstock.
