Why? Because he was really nasty to Kerry during the campaign season.

And he may blow it off by saying, well that's politics, but I don't accept that. (He hasn't said that, I'm just saying I don't accept that.)

He was SO nasty, jumping on the smeary bandwagon on Kerry. You can attack your opponent all you want in a campaign, but the kinds of things they said about Kerry, which were so untrue and so disgusting, were just beyond the pale. And I will never forget it.

So he's sitting on The Daily Show, pushing the book about his being wounded in WWII.

I've got nothing against veterans, many of you know how many are in my own family. But sorry if I don't have a lot of sympathy for his story after seeing him smear a fellow veteran just a few months back.

I wish Jon Stewart would say something about that, but I doubt he will.

2. I heard his interview with Terri Gross (NPR) today

and found it quite comical. She kept asking him questions about current political happenings - the important stuff, and he kept saying "I don't want to talk about that, I want to talk about my book". He must've said it about 10 times, each time getting more annoyed. He did comment on Tom DeLay - "poor guy's just a victim of the Democrat's attack machine".

I know Bob's a war hero and has disabilities I wouldn't wish on anyone, but he's one mean and nasty son of a bitch.
