Jack Abramoff is taking down DeLay - How about Ralph Reed next?
Edited on Mon Apr-11-05 09:41 AM by blm
As I recall, Abramoff's dealings with the Indian casinos also included large chunks of money to Ralph Reed.

Maybe it's time to focus our media efforts on that connection to force it out into the open.

Alot of GOPers are part of this long time money scam, but, Ralph Reed really should be targeted next as he is the biggest lying hypocrite out of them all. He is also planning on running for Governor of Georgia.

1. Yes, Reed was in the thick of it
On a personal note, I can't wait for Reed to be exposed for the charlatan he is.

Abramoff and Michael Scanlon (public relations consultant & GOP shrill) hired Reed and his consulting company, Century Strategies, at the tune of $4.2 million dollars to form a coalition with his Christian contacts to sway public opinion in relation to tribal casinos. When casinos were shut down, key tribal members would then be approached by Abramoff and Scanlon. Opposition for the tribal councils would be smeared so that those same key tribal members could win council seats and, in turn, hire both Abramoff and Scanlon in multi-million dollar contracts to try and re-open the closed casinos.

We can't let the media let this guy off the hook again, just cause he looks like a Boy Scout.

11. Yeah, if Eddie Haskell was the child of Satan. Damien - The Omen
comes to mind every time I see Reed's face.

3. Broader view on the money
We should be focusing on all republicans who received money from Delay's organizations. Wasn't he in charge of fundraising for a "Republican Majority"? The republican party benefitted as whole from his activities. The coverage of the story is focusing on his personal gains not the entire party. I believe most of the politicians who received funds from him for their campaigns knew how he was raising the money.

4. Reed also has past connections to Enron. Reed may be called as a witness
at Ken Lay's trial. All the goods may come out then.

10. He has to go down and it has to be soon
Or he'll be our Lt. Gov next year and that's just a stepping stone for him to run for Pres.

You think it's bad now? Wait until there's a President Reed....
