the 'president' is ASHAMED to go to a soldier's funeral
he is obviously ashamed of our troops, REFUSING to attend even one single american soldier's funeral. he also REFUSES to show us the flag draped coffins, and REFUSES to show us the THOUSANDS of crippled g.i.'s.

what did our soldiers do that was so shameful mr. 'president', that you should REFUSE to show them the proper respect for their sacrifices?

george, you're a CHICKENSHIT.

1. Well, it is true that Bush* hasn't honored any of our dead soldiers
Edited on Sun Apr-10-05 07:16 AM by SpiralHawk
But you must remember that since he himself has a shameful AWOL record with the Texas Air National Guard, he "thinks" he must be consistent and remain AWOL from his responsibilities as "commander in chief."

Just think back a couple of years to 9/11, when Bush demonstrated his consistency by going AWOL and sitting to read "My Pet Goat" for half an hour while America was under attack. Now that's CONSISTENCY. When something is truly important, you can depend on Connecticut Yankee George W. Bush to turn up AWOL.

In the matter of our sons and daughters in the military who have died fighting the Iraq oil war based on Republican lies, Bush is being perfectly consistent and thus AWOL. That's Bush's EXCUSE. Would you like another? Tough shit, that's all you get.

2. Don't think for a minute that military families are not noticing this.
It even rubs them that Bush went to the Pope's funeral..

3. Well -
then why the fuck didn't they do something about it - like VOTE AGAINST the asshole. They have my sympathy, but at the same time, I feel they're a day late and a dollar short.

8. Without a doubt ......
.... the man is a disgrace. No WMDs, no link to 9-11, no threat to America,
no threat to America, no al Qaeda (now yes, before bush's war no), and yet
he can go and do a photo op @ a the funeral of a man who begged him not
to have a war in Iraq.

Slightly off topic but funny we haven't heard word one about who the
military voted too. I bet you if you were to count those votes fairly
he got his ass kicked there too.

10. Wrong. The guy is incapable of feeling ashamed of anything.
He just doesn't give a shit. Soldiers are merely pawns in his little scheme. To him, and casualties are a necessary part of his holy crusade.
