Freepers are gonna go nuts this week!!
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 09:54 PM by Dawgs
See, we here at DU have no problem attacking our own, but now Republican Congressmen are attacking Bush. What is the freeper supposed to do? Rush has taught them that you defend the right no matter what.

Also, the Iraqi's that Bush supposedly freed are burning the American flag. The last excuse that the freeper's had for the Iraqi war was that Bush made the Iraqi's lives better. Why would they do something like this? What excuse will they use for something like this?

Now, less than three months into Bush's second term, his approval numbers are in the low forties.

Oh yeah, the Delay scandals are finally starting to hit the MSM.

What is a freeper supposed to do?

I almost forget the poor economy, high gas prices, and Clinton hanging out with the Bushies.

1. If they are going to go nuts, they won't have to travel far
which is good, considering the price of gas now.

2. HaHaHa... waaaaaaaa..... ohhhhhhnnnnooooo
I started to laugh at what you said, until I remembered the 40 bucks I just dropped to gas up my car.

Thanks for the humor!!! I need a good laugh.

17. I will be happy to don my tutu for the cause
although it is white, not pink. The pointe shoes are, however, pink. I will be happy to do a pique on the foot of any freeper, especially if I get to do it en pointe.

even in Russia!

P.S. Just think what the full weight of a largish person in pointe shoes would do to someone's instep. "Crunch"

4. Those up for re-election are going to start distancing themselves.
And that's gonna create fissures in the monolythic veneer. By 2006, it ought to be a real debacle for Bush. And then our payback begins in ernest.

I really think the Party has reached it high water mark....as it recedes it'll leave a black, oily residue.

7. It's their government now..
if they can't handle the task of regime management then we will be happy to take it back from them.

Conservatives are still living in the 1990's: depicting themselves as crusading populist outsiders against all those liberals in positions of power. Those days are over. They can't pretend to be outsiders anymore.

8. They are already at loose ends.
Several long time freepers have said their good byes to the forum, expressing their concerns that the party is no longer the party that it once was and that FR is no longer the place to openly discuss their concerns.

:hi:

It will be a short trip for them! LOL

9. Let's handle these in order... (you can check my work later)
1) "Those are treacherous RHINOs attacking the pResident.

2) It was set up and paid for by {insert name of most hated ME country of the week}, that's why they're burning the US flag. They were shipped in from {most hated ME country of the week}.

3) They've been polling only in "liberal elite" areas.

4) The 'left wing' media won't rest until they've crucified some poor, hard-working Republican.

5) Clinton's fault, Clinton's fault, and Clinton is trying to play politics and suck up to the center so Hillary has a chance at the Democratic Presidential nomination in '08."

Get back to me when they say these things.

12. That soggy, thwopping sound
is freepers' heads exploding all over the country, as it becomes more and more abundantly clear, even to the factually challenged, that the current crop of Republicans truly suck at governing. They're good campaigners, great at the down and dirty nastiness of electoral politics, but once in office, everything they touch turns to shit. Why? Arrogance, stupidity, paranoia, and the tyranny of bad ideas.

15. Gas prices are over $2/gallon in every state in the union
for the first time ever.

This may serve as a wake-up call to the sleepwalkers, and thus give us an opening through which we can reach people.

It's difficult to spin the price of gas. (Yes, they will sure try.)

The freepers will continue dwelling in lala land until the impeachment process is complete. Then maybe Faux will actually report the truth.
