1. It's been out there for months
Hardly jumping on it. Still I'm glad to see someone write something, anything, finally.

4. Congress knows about this obviously
So, what are they doing? Without control of Congress the Dems must hit the media scene hard to let the public know. Is there a problem verifying all of this, if not, this should be the evenings headlines instead of, as one poster said, Pope Shiavo jackson, etc. We lose military personnel every day, sometimes it is never mentioned on the news. Only trash talkin' news. I spend too much of my spare time on this site reading instead of tv. Keep doggin' it Brad.

7. Does it matter?

Rove will find a way to screw the author, the same way they screwed Dan Rather.

Some element of it will be mildly incorrect, and if it isn't, then they'll just make up bullshit lies, screaming at the top of their lungs. The right-wing hick pundits will turn red repeating them, and their flock of sheep will bleat in agreement.

The Pulitzer-prize winning journalist will be discredited and the Democrats will somehow have a hand in the arrangement.

Or... the editors won't print it.

The only chance now is international media... but then, that's not 'real media' according to half the freak shows in the red states.

Edit: Conyers and Boxer are the only two doing anything about this, and many of their own people are against them. The democratic party isn't worth a shit until its ranks are purged of the wealthy elite.
