3. That depends on who's employing the term.
It won't change the fact that we're stuck with the fucker until 2009 regardless, unless we get a majority in Congress.

4. I don't think you are looking at this the right way
If you have the right answer, both morally and practically, you have a mandate. The Bush's believe that they have the right answer, and naturally assume that most people are with them. But even when the polls don't back this up, they still have the comforting knowledge that they are right, and that the people will see it someday.

So even if 100% of Americans don't agree with President Bush, he will still claim a mandate.

5. Good point. I say 50% (based on *'s "mandate"). Does that mean we impeach?

7. Seems if that last 2% make up their mind that their preznit LIED*
Congress should start paying a bit more attention to how they'll look in the history books if they let the monkey go unpunished.

* I refuse to use the term "deliberately misled" in place of "LIED".
:grr:

8. I prefer "deliberately misled" instead of "lied"
A lie can be an accidental slip of the tongue or a cheap excuse to get out of a conversation. WMD started a war and is much worse then a stupid lie. It's more then a lie, it's a deliberated attempt at misleading the public.

9. Every time I see one of these
polls showing how Bush's popularity has declined, I wonder wtf made these people vote for him just a few months ago. I find it hard to believe that they were immune to 4 years of falsehood and 'woke-up' just after the election.
