Poll: France preferred over US
Even our friendly neighbors to the north and south prefer France to the US.

1. What ?
Have they heard about our great 24 hour spying service? I mean any time day or not you might be spied on here in the United States. Does France offer that? It's great.

Why just the other day I couldn't remember where I had put down my keys, so I called the National Security Agency. After reviewing the tapes, they reminded me I had put them in the freezer so I wouldn't forget where I had put them.

And then there was that time I was about to leave my apartment when the phone rang. It was John Ashcroft, with a friendly reminder that I had spilled Marinara sauce on my shirt and I should change before going back to work.

I'll bet France doesn't offer that kind of 24 hour surveillance!

2. Don't they KNOW that we are superior to everyone else on earth? If
we're superior, we must be preferred. It doesn't matter that our superiority WAS in technology, but we exported, sold, and transferred it and the jobs and now other countries will be superior and then we can say we make superior Mc hamburgers and shine floors better than anyone.

Maybe France can take us over. Now that would be a nice form of regressing and Republicans love to turn back the clock on progress.

4. Two nights ago, I had a dream I was back in France (haven't been
there since 2001). A wonderful dream. The next day my copy of France magazine showed up in the mail. Heaven. I read it cover to cover and checked out the real estate listings.

Yesterday, I watched a bit of TV (MSM) at the car repair shop. I haven't watched the MSM since the election. Last night, I had nightmares involving being forced to move out of my home (it's not like that's really the case) and arguing with people over religious topics. Holy crap!

Weird, huh?

5. "Only in the US does a majority (52%) say that France...
...is having a negative influence in the world (positive 37%)."

I would like to know whether the people who say France is a negative influence could actually articulate a reason why that would be so.
