When Bush talks about spreading democracy in front of Yushencheko I think
about how much Bush could learn from the Ukrainian president. Really an impressive presentation by Yushchenko.

What these world leaders must be thinking when they listen to our idiot head of state. What a fool.

2. He looks composed.
Russians mock Americans. We always go around smiling, even when there's nothing to smile about, in their view. I would expect Ukrainians to have the same social norms for when to smile.

When in a Slavic country and I'm happy, I wipe the smile off my face in public or around people I don't know very well. It's culturally inappropriate.

The flip side is that I have to not expect them to smile when an American would smile.
