1. My first reaction is, "Are you crazy or something?"
The streets will already be filled with tourists and the transportation system will be stressed to its limits. This would also generate unpopular sentiment among the people who are just coming here to see the fireworks.

Not to mention the usual torrid temperatures. You must be into killing old out of shape fat hippies.

We should pick a weekend in May or June which does not involve some other holiday. Let's not make it difficult for people to attend.

2. Not I
Not right now, but I am up for a smarter action.
One network, one talking pundit show at a time.
I say start with the extremely republican bias show,
Scarborough Country. Focus on one at a time.
One sponsor at a time.

3. How about July 2nd?
That way you avoid interfering with the Fourth of July parades and crowds yet still have everyone there to see it. The 4th is on a Monday and you know everyone is going to be there Saturday the 2nd.

4. No
They have the folk life festival on the Mall every year at that time. There would be no where to stage a protest. This is not a time for a protest in Washington, D.C. A protest must be staged when the Mall is free.
