He was pretty critical of Bush.

1. Didn't see it
Didn't see it, but I'm glad to hear it. Do you have an online link?

I don't always agree with McCain, but he's the kind of Republican I can share my world with. That is, a thinker, not a knee-jerker.

2. No, but I saw him on Saturday Night Live last week
and that was some funny junk. There was some skit where he was a hippy school teacher and he kept calling the principal a "fascist."

In another one, he sang Barbara Streisand songs, since she always tries to do his job.

3. The Streisand bit was a tad petulant, I thought.
But his hippie teacher bit killed. He was actually pretty funny, overall--plus, his impression of John Ashcroft was a hoot!

Do the Nation a Service
President Bush should be commended for using 9/11 to call the country to public service. If only his deeds matched his rhetoric
