5. Hypothetical - Since SCOTUS appointees are for life, what if Rehnquist....

...were in a coma. Probably not brain dead like you know who, but unconscious to the point where he could not "retire" voluntarily from the Court. Assuming he's kept alive until - Oh hypothetically let's say Jaunuary of 2007 - (Knock on wood) - is there any way Chimp could get around that and appoint his replacement, if he is not in fact, dead or retired?

7. I bet if he was on a respirator or feeding tube, Tom Delay

and all the other hypocritical repubs that have been showboating recently on the Schiavo 'case' would advocate for the immediate removal of any aids if they can only replace Rehnquist when he dies.
