Another Schiavo Thread, Something Outrageous said by RWer
Some female knuckle dragger with whom I post on another forum said the most outlandish thing regarding the whole Terri Schiavo fiasco.

Just as background, this person has also said "mothers who care about their children don't work outside the home" and "anyone who loves their children will homeschool them instead of letting the government to do it."

Re: Terri Schiavo she said this: "The damage is done, now....BUT...I do wonder where Terri's feminist champions were....you know...those militant creatures who usually champion the poor wife being abused by her hubby, etc. Why no outcry from them? Oh yeah..they're the handmaidens of the culture of death, aren't they? Right up their alley, this..."

Handmaidens of the culture of death? WTH?

2. She's parroting the phrases she hears on hate radio and FOX...
...you don't really think she came out with that on her own? It was put in her head, poor thing.

8. I guess that's not surprising
I never listen to RW radio, so I really don't know what their buzz words du jour are. I think it would make my head explode.

Great user name! :-)

4. And the answer is that feminists champion personal freedom to choose.

10. Absolutely!
Freedom to choose what to do with your body, what a concept! You know, even if Terri had had a very clear living will and had it autographed by Antonin Scalia, there would still be right to lifers who insisted it was wrong. For people who supposedly champion freedom and liberty, they certainly have lots of opinions about what other's should be with their bodies.

5. Kinda goes with this morning's 'sick' cartoon by Glenn McCoy in the WP.

I don't know how to 'copy' it into this message post. But here's the link to the op page of the Washington Post. I don't know exactly who this guy is, but he certainly is always representing the RW.

edit: Correct first name

7. What a freakin' loon
That woman is a nut and she does neither the homeschooling no the at home parenting movements any credit. I say that as a homeschooling mother who has never worked outside the home since LK was born, but I guess my opinion can be discarded since I'm another "handmaiden of the culture of death," whateverthefuck that means.

9. Polarization and high emotion
creates pure 100% projection. Judgment and self disclosure right out of her own mouth, in other words. Take it as revealing what she is herself more than an outrageous attack to be defended against. Don't be thrown off when they reveal in madness something that will work if it only distracts you from the truth as well.

Like Delay claiming a lefty "syndicate" is after him. That is exactly how a rational person would characterize the operation of the regime gang. Instead people are thrown on the defensive rather than enjoying how the projection reveals the character of the one passing judgment.

12. Apparently, she doesn't watch the Abrams Report...
One night early last week, a mature woman who represented a feminist organization (don't remember which one) locked horns with Dan Abrams on this issue. As livid as Abrams was about the law being ignored/abused by congress in this latest political manuever, he couldn't get a word in edgewise because the woman was so overbearing in her defense of Schiavo. Abrams couldn't overcome her strong voice; he literally looked frustrated.

Other feminist leaders are probably honoring Terri Chiavo's decision to die with dignity & grace, rather than living in a vegetative state for all the world to see, thanks to her parents, who are unwilling to face reality & let Terri go in the manner she would have wanted.

13. If the RW is good at one thing it's . . .
PROJECTION.

These people want to "save" well before you are born and when you are about to die but they could care less about you when you are alive and kicking.

14. Why would anyone who supports a woman's right to terminate
a pregnancy in her body think the same woman should have permission from Mommy and Daddy to terminate life support on her same body?

15. But wait! There's more...
Here's the latest installment of the fruit cake files:

"HUSBANDS can kill their wives on hearsay evidence. Where are<or were> our militant feminists? Why didn't they fight for this woman? Oh right...the abortion thingy..it's all tied up together, isn't it? Kill what we deem unwanted."

This woman also claims to be a Libertarian. Yeah, right. ::eyes::

I think she's just a really cheap republican.

17. They're around, right here on DU
I've heard that argument made by a few DUers, quite surprised by who some of them were. Your poster would be the first to call them feminazis when they're fighting for restraining orders, gun laws, and other domestic violence laws. At least the liberal feminists who are concerned about spousal abuse in Terri's case are consistent. Misguided, I think, but consistent in their fight at least.

Ah, yes--dehumanizing women. How utterly predictable.

They can all go fuck themselves.
