I am a member of a third party Socialist Party USA but almost always vote for Democrats in my area. Any other third party members who support progressive Dems on this board?

I won't affiliate myself with a party that is so far from my personal views, though I will vote for them. I probably would affiliate myself with the Greens if they didn't have such a bad attitude.
since Minnesota doesn't have party registration, technically everyone here is an independent though.

I'm also SP-USA but I work on Dem campaigns, contribute to them, and vote for them.
Principles v. Practicable is fairly easy with Bush as pResident.

I'm a registered Green. I'm a supporter of the major democratic socialist groups: SPUSA, CPUSA, Democratic Socialists of America, Committees of Correspondence for Democracy & Socialism, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and Solidarity. I want to join at least one of the above groups eventually.

but always voted Dem. After Bush stole the election and a review of the candidates, switched to Dem to vote for Dennis in the primaries.

I am a Democrat because I want to choose candidates in the primaries and caucuses, and because of the electoral college, but I will bolt if the repuke isn't sufficiently scary and the Democrat not sufficiently progressive, like in the Cal recall. I prefer Arianna. Between Arnold and Davis I have not preference. On the other hand I thought Bush was a scary candidate, and I voted Gore over Nader in 2000. I am a Democrat with an independent streak.
