With all the talk of morals lately. We need a Role Call
I don't know about the rest of you, but I wear my liberalism like a badge of honor. And my parents sleep well knowing they raised a good human being. I'll be damned if I'm going to let some confused mortals
define my values.

and in the parking lot, there was a car with two bumper stickers

You Can't Be Catholic and Pro-Choice
Christian or Democrat: You have to choose.

Words cannot describe how much I loathe these people. They can take their goddamn "morality" and shove it.

5. Guess that makes me a heretic then.
Of course, considering the fact that the Pope was none to happy when Georgie Porgie tried to claim an endorsement he wasn't entitled to, and that the Pope then pointed out that "pro-life" also means anti-war and anti-death penalty, does that mean the owner of the car is admitting to also being a heretic, or is he/she saying the Pope isn't Catholic either?

6. I'm totally with you.
I'm a Catholic, so that was pretty insulting. I want to point out to these idiots that using their logic, you can't be pro-death penalty or pro-war and be Catholic, either.

9. Watching the behavior of the 'good Christians' around my area makes
me wonder what got lost in translation.

I neither attend chruch nor profess to be a Christian, but I follow most of the Master's teachings a whole lot closer than the soap box bible thumpers.

Wish they would all re-read that passage of praying in priviate, like in a closet!

10. I wonder how many of these people will use there new found
sympathy for the suffering in the world. After being made aware of all the starvation, disease and injustice that this tragedy has brought to light, how many will make it there mission to end such wrongs of the world after Florida quiets down.
The way Tom Delay and Bill Frist were going off the other day, one would expect them lead a world relief tour wouldn't one?
