6. LOL
I obviously would prefer to think of 'Medea' Benjamin of Code Pink than our worthless 'media'.

...sorry, but that's just the reaction of most people.

What you mentioned is too hard to follow/understand. It takes work to be informed about things like that. Too many people prefer to follow along with these melodramatic "human interest story" type circuses.

5. Not Sexy Enough...Doesn't Sell Soap
Now if you can find a video of a shock & awe bombing attack with lots of booms and flashes, that's what the corporate media wants to show...how mighty and great we are. Or, how grateful the Iraqis are that we've invaded and destroyed their country. Anything about dissent or alluding that this invasion isn't going well isn't in the script...doesn't fit in with the corporate media mantra and sheds them and their handlers and profiteers in a bad light. Best not go there or people may ask some real questions.

Instead, we need breads and circuses. Gasoline hits 2.25 or 2.50 a gallon? That doesn't matter...we're all too worried about Democrats killing a brain dead person. Another 1500 American military or 20,000 injured? Nope...not gonna deal with that...the script says we're "winning hearts and minds" and better to divert to Whacko Jacko or another stalking horse.

This regime is like the old magic show...you look at the hand with the cards, while the one doing all the tricks is hidden from sight.

And the corporate media hums along...making the cash by dividing the country further. Shamless.
