If you watch how the Bush bunch just don't back down on the Schiavo thing, then you will know we are being naive to think they are through with Social Security. These are excellent ads, and they tell real stories about how Social Security has helped real people.

Beat USA Next to the Punch: Put These Ads on the Air
You've stepped up to hold media outlets accountable if they air the political hate speech of USA Next, the right-wing front group. But stopping them isn't enough.
We need to beat them to the punch—we need to get on the air with our positive message about the human impact of Social Security.
So we've put together two radio ads based on the thousands of personal stories from ordinary people whose lives have been changed by Social Security. They're ready to go on the air in the same markets as the USA Next ads that will begin appearing in the coming days.
But they can't go up without your donation:
http://www.democracyforamerica.com/contributeUSA Next uses bigotry and hate to distract people from the real issues. And other conservatives like George Bush play fast and loose with numbers so that people can't make sense of reality.
But these ads show the reality, plain and clear: Social Security works. It saves lives and saves families.
Please contribute now to put these ads on the air:

It's up to you. Your contribution will determine the number of cities where we can go on the air.
There are two versions of the ad—one targeted specifically to Latinos, a constituency that Republicans have tried hard to court.
Please donate whatever you can now:
