on more than one occassion during my membership at DU i have seen threads (mostly in the lounge, i think, but possibly in GD) that have discovered and mocked the gallery of pics at the free republic site. i have also seen threads that discover and mock pictures of gatherings of free republic members.

a question that has been asked more than one time on threads such as these is: "hey freepers! where are your black members??!!!"

hahaha! it's so true! they are so white!

and then there is the DU gallery...for those who have seen it--well, it looks pretty white, doesn't it? (catwoman, i am not suggesting that you look white! you know i love your hair, sistah girl ;-) :hi: ) most DUers do not have a picture posted in the gallery, but really, DU is most likely a disproprtionate % (ratio of population and dems as a whole) of white people.

poverty and racism are real issues. where does the internet fit in to that?
