The political temperature for today...
It is not likely that the UN will assist George Bush in his request for help in Iraq. They will probably wait for the next Democratic Administration. They do not like George W Bush.

After the chaos in the streets of Baghdad yesterday, one has to wonder if the US-trained cops were shooting at Iraqi criminals or at American GIs? Could this decision to train Iraqi cops turn into a disaster?

The editor of the al-Jazeera newspaper said on C-SPAN that George W Bush was "two/thirds successful" in his search for "Weapons of Mass Destruction"....He didn't find the Weapons but he found the Mass Destruction...

2. Hey Kentuck
I just want you to know that I enjoy reading your postings. I don't always respond to them because they are thought provoking and demand that I think about them awhile before responding. And by then the've sunk like a stone.
But the're very good. And important. And I look forward to them. And I hope you don't get discouraged by receiving many less responses then deserved. I think people's minds are responding.

6. The "sinking like a stone" part?
:D

I agree that the UN will likely wait to see if a Dem is elected. Of course, if Booosh took a page out of Albert Brooks film Lost in America and said "So, I eat shit and go to New York?" and did a total turnaround at the UN, they might help out. I don't see that happening. Poor, dumb slob.
