That suggested that by having the court rule for removal of life support *because of the cerebral cortex* there could be ramifications for the anti-choice movement. Something about the timing of the development of the cerebral cortex in a fetus. :shrug:

I don't think they really want to have the Supreme Court rule on this.

4. No - the repukes are just using this to reconnect to their base who

are wondering what happened to all the 'abortion laws' or 'same sex marriage bans' that the Bush Administration should be putting through congress of introducing to the Supreme Court. Bush owns the executive, legislative,& judiciary...so why not fulfilling all those long term promises to their supporters? It leaves the supporters bewildered and wonder 'what is going on...was he a joke...am I a joke'. Bush does not want to solve these issues because he will motivate the base of the democrats and enrage women. But Terry comes along and just in time: she can help him reconnect to his religious base.

I don't think the Terry is suffering while alive these last years so I really do not see the need to stop her feeding...unless it was as she said and she made a living will..but that sounds odd. Terry - if she lives - I think will be pretty comfy. And she smiles. So - no reason for her to die.

A win/win for Bush. He gets to reconnect to his supporters AND renew their waning confidence in his promises. And Terry gets to live (I still wonder about the living will coming out of the husband only years after she was first hurt.. if that is the truth..it is odd).
