Youu know it ain't just media folks - it's politicians too. Remember when Barak Obama was the savior of the party, then after like two days in the Senate he was a turncoat traitor Benedict Arnold asshole? Last time I checked he was back to hero, though. :eyes:

could not have it. BP was getting skunked by new democratically elected leader. So Ike sent Gen. Norman Schwaskopf (sp?) over to help the Brits with some dirty tricks - resulting in the Shah's rise to power. Even then the US never met a dictator they didn't like.

And yes - that Gen. was/is the father of the Gen. from the first Iraq war. Wonder why the media never told us about the second generation of mischevious makers.

25. All those you mentioned are alien lizards or work for them.
They NEVER ask hardball questions.

When Cooper was "interviewing" Guckert, he was giving him a reach-around. He didn't even ask him where he got his journalism degree.

If I had the opportunity, I would have served "Gannon Goulash" to my audience, with a side order of "Armstrong Williams Freedom Fries."

Not that is a big stretch or lie by GOP/USmedia standards for the 99% of the time the media is speaking good about Bush/GOP.

31. Take It Easy--Your position is a little extreme.
Whether or not you like the expression used by Anderson Cooper, he is NOT a GWB propagandist. It would be better just to say that you don't like what he said or how he said it and that it conflicts with YOUR perception of what is happening in the Middle East. But please don't get as loony and stupid as our political foes over in red state nutville, OK?

32. He is great. I love democracy in Lebanon. Unless Bush wants to
take ownership for the big bomb then Bush had nothing to do with it.. Repukes sing a new tune: the USA must stop supporting strongmen and discouraging democracy and the populists the world over feel it is safe to hit the streets. Enjoy it!!

Enjoy too the trial of Saddam Hussein where the details of his fascist rule and fear-mongering will be talked about on the news every night. And Freepers will her the description of the Baathists and be going "Hey! that sounds like me?".

Enjoy it all. It was always liberal policy.

38. I mentioned this over the weekend about Cooper
He and his camera operators were waltzing around the anti-Syria demonstration selecting English-speaking marchers who would say We love America(ns), or Boosh is good. Ity was a propaganda effort worthy of PNAC, without a hint of contextualization. Screw Cooper. He's the next Dennis Miller or Drudge koolaid imbiber.
