So, how is our progressive sub-society coming along?
So far it's been agreed that we need the Internet to establish such a society.

For my previous ramblings and some ideas by others, look here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=3249543

Tell me what you think? Can some of this be implemented soon? If so, how?

2. Not so much, eh?
Um, maybe I should post the salient points of the original thread. I'm too tired right now. Singing is an aerobic activity, especially when you've been singing a long-winded Brahms piece...whew.

3. Well, I would say an old fashioned commune but after what happened to the
branch dividians and at Ruby Ridge, I think it might just call attention to us. Several of my friends and I got together some years back to buy a very large piece of and so we all would have somewhere to vacation and enjoy to outdoors. There were 20 of us, not counting spouses, and we got a bunch of trouble and questions from the people who lived in the near by town. Cops came out and wanted to know what our intentions were. We told him , camping , fishing and the like....he just smiled and drove off in his car.

My point is....any time the gov. sees many people getting together to do anything for the benefit of all they freak out and think up all types of criminal activities. Joining together adds up to opposition and a threat to them....even camping!
