1. Driving on the roads and freeways of Southern California
That's a danger I have no way to avoid other than by driving defensively.

3. Other: Coming climate disaster... Coming extinction event
If global warming doesn't do us in, it may melt enough ice to shut down the deep ocean currents and throw us back into the ice age we are already over-due for. (Scientific American this months claims human slash and burn agriculture started 8,000 years ago put enough CO2 in the air that it is holding back an ice age that should be under way right now.)

Also, we are 2 million years over due for our periodic once-every-63-million-years global extinction event, (cause unknown). Last time nothing bigger than a domestic cat survived.

9. All the ones besides the numberology is based on corporate greed
If corporate greed weren't an issue, Bush wouldn't have such a following or be as dangerous. Peak oil wouldn't be as much of a problem either because we would be working on alternate energy sources seriously now, as opposed to waiting when market forces dictate it.

11. losing freedom.
The Patriot Act is just one example of how we are losing our freedoms. The real kind.

I'm not talking about the "freedom" to pray in public school, or the "freedom" to pollute the environment, or the "freedom" to not pay your workers overtime, or the "freedom" to own a sub-machine gun.
