I and my family saw Steve Earle last night in Ellsworth ME.

Any DUer who misses this opportunity is crazy. This man is our Moses.

1. Along with Mellencamp the best man to follow Johnny Cash
He's been around the mountain and survived the wilderness. I'd see him for sure if he played my little town in the middle of canadian nowhere

2. He called John Fogerty "dumber than a bag full of nails."

Let's see him create a dozen great records like "Fortunate Son", "Who'll Stop The Rain" and the other Creedence hits...

3. Reckon Earle was FULL of shit on that one.
Sounds like his mouth went off before his brain woke up. He obviously does not know Thing One about Fogerty. Still and all, I recommend that Earle get a Neil Young pass: he can be WRONG now and then.

Anybody who played with The Pogues can't be all bad.
