6. You bet!
The only heart problem Delay could possibly have would be that the medicos can't find one...

8. I'm thinking that many men his age have heart problems and he might
have sold his soul to the dark side but that doesn't protect his heart. Seems like nothing sinister to me.

By The Associated Press
(3/10/05 - WASHINGTON) — House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was treated for a heart condition Thursday at Bethesda National Naval Medical Center, his office said.

The Texas Republican was released and returned home after a series of tests. He intends to stick to his plans to go to Florida, Georgia and Texas this weekend.

Capt. Michael Curran, the head of cardiology at the hospital, said in a statement that the 57-year-old Delay, who met doctors at the Capitol and then Bethesda after experiencing minor fatigue, has a condition known as arrhythmia, or an irregular heartbeat.

Curran said DeLay's personal doctor in Texas has monitored this condition for years.

DeLay admits aiding group, denies wrongdoing
He says he was 'absolutely not' behind the transfer of TRMPAC funds

WASHINGTON - House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said Wednesday he served as a creator, adviser and fund-raiser to a Texas-based political action committee now under state criminal investigation, but he was not involved in its day-to-day operations.
...
Three of DeLay's associates have been indicted in Texas in a case alleging improper use of corporate contributions in the 2002 Texas House races. The elections resulted in a Republican majority in the state Legislature, clearing the way for DeLay's congressional redistricting plan that produced a larger GOP House majority.

20. How Come I Think Of Raymond Patriarcha and His Heart Condition?
So when I read about Tom DeLay supposedly having heart problems, why is it that I think of former Rhode Island crime boss Raymond Patriarcha having "heart conditions" every time it seemed like he'd be facing prosecution?
