Chimp fails to recognise irony
""This is non-negotiable. It is time to get out," he said. "I think we've got a good chance to achieve that objective and to make sure that the May elections are fair. I don't think you can have fair elections with Syrian troops there."

So basically, he thinks that it's not possible to have fair elections in a country undergoing foreign occupation - well, duh!

1. Not "basically." He actually said it...

"You cannot have free and fair elections when you're under occupation."

That isn't the exact quote, I heard it on the air Friday. Maybe someone can dredge it up. But he used the words "under occupation," or something very similar (I edited this post after the following posts refreshed my memory of the story).

I don't think Chimp knows what the word "irony" means.

2. In part of some speech I heard Friday on NPR
he said there couldn't be freedom in Lebanon with a foreign occupying power. I was too shocked to laugh! I'm surprised the speech writers didn't catch that, maybe he was trying to use his own words instead.

3. I have no doubt he was trying to...
"use his own words." Its always painful when he does.
I can't find the fact that he is a moron funny.
