1. Would you expect any different from her?
I have hated her sense she voted for the Medicare Bill, she is not a real Democrat.

5. I'm not voting for Feinstein in 06-even if it means a GOP Senator in CA
I'm tired of her - I don't care if sometimes she votes in a way that pleases Dems (ie. pro choice). She has proven too many times to pander for votes from the other side and she isn't a true Dem or Progressive - She's Republican Lite....After her glowing introduction of Condi Rice, that was it for me. She also has voted on a bunch of issues in the last year that have just pushed me over the edge on her. She should have stood with Boxer on many things and she hasn't. Meanwhile, like my post title says, I'm not voting for her in 2006....I don't care if it means we in CA get a Republican Senator - its not like it changes the majority in the Senate and its not like it makes much of a difference in the voting....I'm instead going to campaign for a good Progressive or Green Party member for Senator in 2006 from CA.

Bye Bye Diane....

7. Biden is paying the credit companies that list his home state as their
home office, i guess we know now who Biden's real constituency is. For the people......against the people.

8. I think many of our Democratic politicians are corrupt. I include
DiFi among them. Is it true that Rob Reiner said he might run for an office in the next election? I thought it might be for governor against Ahnold but I think senator would be better. I think he could give Dianne a good fight.

Oh for all of you who don't want celebrities in office, I agree, but since the trend is there, I'd rather my celebrity politicians be liberal and Rob is as liberal as Meathead was if not more so.

9. Why is fucking someone a bad thing?
I just don't get the "Fuck you." thing.

I do agree that Feinstein is DINO. It would be great if she could be defeated by a real Dem but being defeated by a Green Party candidate would be so much better. ;0)

10. Did you mean to post to me?
If you did, and are referring to Reiner as a Green Party candidate, I believe he was talking about running on the Democratic ticket and he endorsed Gore in the 2000 election trying to get the Greens not to vote for Nader.

12. Feinstein is so in the hot tub
with her GOP buddies that she's been allowed to win, I believe, but throwing a third candidate in there after the primaries will ensure either DiFi or a Republican. She has to be beaten in the primaries by a Democratic candidate. Then it will be new Democrat against new Republican and anyone else on the ticket.

16. Celebraties are people just like
anyone else except the repuke ones..they do it because of their name recognition and the party bankrolls it...the Dem celebs like Rob Reiner would do it cause he believes in something bigger than himself.

I saw something on swartzenegger that he doesn't want to run for prez but does want to be governor of California so he can change the system("because it needs it")..even though it wouldn't be popular.

15. What about Herb Kohl (from the family that owns Kohl's
Department store)? He voted with the pugs. These people NEVER have to worry about not being able to pay their bills. Not only are most of them rich by virtue of birth but they have also amassed a small fortune courtesy of my and your tax dollars.

I don't know how effective large demonstrations are but the congress critters do know that they can take away food stamps and do a lot to poor and working class people and there will not be any marches that will disrupt THEIR daily lives.

26. Ironically, the bk bill will hurt retailers like Kohl
This is a long term middle class killing bill. It will permanently remove people from operating effectively in the economy and reduce prospective Kohl customers.

18. Fienstein has that repuke hairdo
her clothes look like they came from the Avon collection,in other words why is she a democrat if she looks, sounds and votes like a brain dead republican.
Despite her church lady look which may have helped her at one time, she is a clueless sell out on most issues.

27. most Democratic senators are chickenshit BushCo enablers . . .
and that includes my own two senators, Clinton and Schumer . . . the evidence is everywhere, from the Patriot Act to the federal budget to the recent banning of class action law suits in state courts . . . but this one takes the cake . . . in 2001, only 13 Democratic senators voted against this welfare for credit card companies bill, and it will probably be worse this time around . . .

I repeat the pledge I've made repeatedly . . . any Democrat who supports this travesty will lose my support forever . . . if Clinton and Schumer vote for it again, I'll vote for a third party candidate for senator, and I certainly won't support Hillary if she somehow manages to become the presidential nominee (which I don't believe will happen, btw) . . .
