Union miners arrested during bankruptcy law protest in West Virginia

LONDON, W.Va., Feb. 24 — United Mine Workers of America president Cecil Roberts and nine others were arrested Thursday during a protest of a federal bankruptcy ruling that will cause thousands of coal workers to lose their medical coverage.

1. Gee, someone actually heard of the coming new law. Of course,
I don't watch TV news, so I wouldn't know if they cared about the new law or not. Glad to see others are taking an interest. I can't believe it gets rid of medical coverage. What is wrong with this country of ours.

2. How does medical coverage fit in with bankruptcy? Like oil & water,
medical coverage and bankruptcy laws are two utterly different things.
