Overheard conversation in a bar
So I was sitting at the bar tonight and this freeper type was sitting a couple stools down talking to his date about politics and welfare in particular. Mostly I was just listening to him and shaking my head at his idiocy but then he said something about all the taxes he pays to support "welfare queens". At that I spoke up and mentioned Ken Lay and also Haliburton. I said that Enron and Cheney's Haliburton have gotten more money out of you than all the "welfare quenns" have ever or will ever get out of you. At that he just looked at me and went on talking about some other right-wing talking point. His date looked at me and smiled. I could tell before I spoke up that she wasn't digging his stupidity.

I wish I had paid a bit more attention to some of the other crap he was spewing. There were a couple points that I thought about smashing my beer upside his head. At least his date wasn't having any of it either so I'm sure he went home alone.

2. Sounds like you could have had a date!
Good for you! Always good to lay waste to stupid arguments.

6. She was arguing with him too
Which was cool. The crap went on for about 15 minutes before I said anything and his date/girlfriend/wife (don't really know what she was) wasn't having any of it either but he was a typical right-wing blowhard. Totally talking over anyone else. If it had taken place a bit earlier in the night I might have been able to steal her away. Oh well maybe next time.

Women, it is up to you!

Date a freeper, listen to their spew, and tell them at the doorstep "because of your RW crap, sayonara, it's cold shower time for you, buddy."

8. I was never able to wait for the doorstep.
I just told them that despite appearances, I was just to the right of a Pinko, and called for a cab. I couldn't buy that time back...

It happened at least 3 times in my dating career.

RW men tend to look at me and think I'm of like mind; but not by a long shot!

4. You know what would be fun...
If his date leaned over and told him..."You know, I WAS planning on going home with you tonight and having wild animal sex, including a blow job that you would never forget, but I just can't be intimate with someone whose politics are so wrong"....
