I want to reply to this quote from the article above, Dean's Fat Chance:

" The mindless course leading to Dean's election by acclamation reflects a party adrift, its senior leaders mired in unreality."

No, Novak, Dean's election represents an aware, awake, activist Democratic movement from the grassroots: you know, DEMOCRACY, as opposed to merely accepting dictates downward from those in power.
