Can you believe poor Drudge still won't touch Gaynon?
http://www.drudgereportarchives.com/dsp/search.htm?searchFor=gannon

has only one single article! And it's from a week ago!

events surrounding "Jeff Gannon,"
From the February 11, 2005 02:00:12 GMT edition of the Drudge Report.

I look forward to the pressure getting so much poor Drudge has to finally acknowledge reality.

What if Matt had met and HIRED Bulldog??? You know for wrestling... And thats why he is really keeping off the story?

1. drudge is merely being obvious about his partisanship.
He's a hack bastard. Let's leave it at that. Anything further is idle gossip.

Of course, when I say "instructing," I'm referring to journalism. /s

6. Best Freeper Gannon Rant EVER!
On the truly entertaining "protest for Gannon" thread:

"I have heard many flame wars on this site but today was the biggest bunch of bull yet. We won the election in 2004 but too many have shut down their minds. The election is over but the war has begun. The DEMS and Hillary have lost and they are planning a return fight. Gannon was an easy target but an example of how the fight will go. Our sites power may not be enough and the petty fighting on the site will leave our backs open. Tonight I went to the White House with Kristinn. As always the DC Chapter has the advantage to go into the streets and learn. We learned tonight the war is on and it is time to draw the wagons and keep an open mind. Kristinn will post the after action. Pull your heads our of your butt and listen."

Oh I am having TOO much fun watching them freak out over there!!

11. What's funny is, you would never know they "won"
by how they talk and act.

Sometimes I wonder if they aren't unhappy they won. I mean, now EVERYTHING can be blamed on repukes. No excuses. How can you blame anyone else when you are in charge of EVERYTHING? It's all on their incompetent little pinheads.

15. too true! They helped me develop a new approach to the 'poo-poo' smears
From over here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x3139489#3139706

Well my latest approach to everyone _not_ DU is to treat them like children ... and not with the *-brand "stern father", but rather the "supporting nuturer".

Essentially if someone says they think * is "good", I treat them like a child I love but who absolutely believes in invisible tea parties. I say that's all fine and dandy then, and if they're "old enough" I drop a few hints that "they probably know _big_ boys and girls don't do that" ... on the other hand, if they're a little rabid, I try to treat them like a little child who can't quite get it through their head that smearing 'poo-poo' on the walls is NOT a good idea. Those ones of course need special attention, but I've been very impressed in how well its been working.

So as "the adult" I "suspend my disbelief" in the fantasy world enough to help them see that there is a "nice way to play" and that they are always growing up more...

Frankly, NOTHING else has worked; without the compassion of my view I'd be hard pressed not to consider every one of them I've talked with as THE WORST MORANS EVER! (whew, I do have to 'outgas' occasionally from the pent-up frustrations!)

ers who are intolerant.

I mean this thing is SOOO over the top.

Whodathunk a gay male prostitute could be a white house reporter???

8. Drudge is now officially IRRELEVANT
the story everyone is talking about and he won't touch it. He has been replaced by a zillion other more current and gutsy sources.

16. EXACTLY! -- the point of watching Drudge is to see how broken their
propaganda machine actually is.

When the gears are so painfully grinding, by listening to the silent parts we can find out something about why some parts are crunching and some others are not even touching...

If it makes you feel any better, I actually don't go to drudge, I just go to the search URL with the word Gannon! http://www.drudgereportarchives.com/dsp/search.htm?searchFor=gannon

Frankly I think 'irrelevant', at least to the point of 'the media', is being generous ;)

24. Gannon has severely injured Drudge
by showing his vulnerability on breaking big stories. If Drudge ignores Gannon, he becomes just another gossip columnist. He's no longer the guy with the latest. He's just a guy with the same old stuff. Nothing new.
You couldn't make this story up. Hollywood would turn down your screenplay. A male prostitute makes Drudge irrelevant. The irony is so thick it's like a wooly blanket.
And poor Limbaugh. He's fleeing the country.

14. remember the "openly gay canadian"?
he sure touched that one, I posted this in another thread, which is sinking, so here it is:

"Published reports suggest the Bush administration retaliated by notifying Internet news sites and other media outlets that Jeffrey Kofman is not only Canadian but also an openly "gay" man.

A headline on Matt Drudge's website Wednesday evening read: ''ABC News correspondent who filed troop complaints story is openly gay, Canadian.''

Drudge also provided a link to a profile of Kofman in The Advocate, a gay-issues magazine.

Despite White House denials, Drudge told the Washington Post he received a phone call from the White House communications department tipping him off to the information on Kofman, reports the Toronto Globe and Mail. "

17. Drudge may be one of Guckgan's best clients.
The hypocrisy of this whole thing is just killing me.

Those fucknuts have been ranting and wailing and gnashing their teeth over the "depravity" of homosexuality, about the demise of our society's values because of homosexuality, about the way they would deny gays and lesbians their rights to fully participate in our society, about the diseases gays 'deserve" and that "God hates Fags."

Now, they tell us homosexuality and gay prostitution are "no big deal." Now they say it's fine that the Godly Preznent was interviewed by a gay prostitute who was FUNDED BY THE VERY PEOPLE WHO CLAIM HOMOSEXUALS ARE DEPRAVED, SICK, SINNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE GODFORSAKEN TWITS? ARE THEY MENTALLY ILL OR JUST PURE EVIL?

20. I agree with the poo analogy
Completely.

And your approach has real merit. These are brainwashed creatures. They need a firm, gentle trip back through those years they missed.

The ones where someone explained that the tooth fairy really doesn't leave those dimes under your pillow and, no, you can't lie and steal and get away with it. And, no, you can't say an action is sinful and unforgiven and completely harmful to society and then participate in the same activity yourself with impunity.
