30 minutes of the Faux morning zoo crew...
Their morning show is just like those annoying "Morning Zoo Crews" that are on commercial radio. Yelling, jokes, and trashy catty talk. One morning a week or two ago, they showed a slow speed car chase in L.A. for over an hour. This is news?

Anyway, this morning at my gym, I noticed they were "covering" last night's debate. I very reluctantly changed the TV switcher on my treadmill over to them. Their "fair and balanced" report highlighted the four candidates who were least likely to get the nomination. They were very disjointed pieces, poorly set up by the "crew". They played Tiny quotes from the other candidates. By "Tiny" I mean maybe 5 to 7 words, cutting sentences in half. All hand selected by General Rove.

After this they spent an equal amount of time slamming the Dixie Chicks. Apparently, the Chicks have Dared to have an opinion about Fox's candidate in California. This of course led them to a session of putting down Davis and Bustamante.

Then they had Senator Lieberman on. This led to an agreement session that the balance of the Democratic candidates were too liberal and out of step with America. Joe did slam Bush's economic policy, but the faux bimbo conducting the interview was more interested in economic trade with China. Thus Bush's failed economy is the fault of the Chinese. .....ok

After Joe was dismissed, and now that "international news" was in the spotlight, it of course was time to complain about the "Whiny" French for a while.

Freeper TV at it's best.

1. Watching that shows is like nails on a chalkboard
I don't know how anyone with an IQ over 80 could enjoy that show - it is very adolescent.

3. I heard Johnny Depp was supposed to be on
FOX this AM, but I just couldn't bear to watch that dreck, even for him. Personally, I wouldn't blame him for cancelling.

5. Depp is a wimp
He backed down from his puppy statement the next day; apparently his agent pointed out to him the millions he would lose... the US is circling the drain - got to get the chimp out of office before he does any more damage.

11. Depp not a wimp

The "statement" he issued was a clarification, not a retraction and most seem to be satisfied with that. And it's not like Stern haven't been willing to delude themselves before, i.e. the "Hitler diaries".

edit: It will not hurt his career one iota not being on FOX. I doubt the people who watch FOX are the same people who share his taste in dramatic material. Thank GOD!

4. Best quote of the morning from the blond bimbo on Fox
Re: the Dixie Chicks slamming Arnold as unqualified

"I pay entertainers to entertain me. Not to give their political opinion."

So what's the frigging difference with Arnold? Last I heard he's still an actor/entertainer and he's supposedly running for CA gov based on this political opinions.

Oh yeah, the difference is he's a Republican.

12. What's the difference with Faux's blond bimbo?
She's just another entertainer. Certainly not a journalist.

6. I can't believe you could stomach them for 30 minutes
I can usually only take about 5-10 minutes of their sophomoric antics, and that's when I'm in an especially masochistic mood!

They're the cream of the crop as far as partisan dingbats go -- low even by Faux standards!

10. I rarely witness their "professional newscast"...
Once every two weeks one of the 14 tvs at my gym is tuned to faux. I get there late after the morning rush. Before I leave, I change the channel. Just doing my duty to make America a better place.

heh.
