What MSM Personalities Would YOU Fire? Who Would Get Raises?
There is a lot of discussion of "the media" and its influence. I too am highly skeptical and critical of the mass media, especially television. However, it is clear that there is a great deal of variation in reporting. Clearly, most here would prefer CNN to FOX.

I find that within each of the the major networks (regular and cable) there is a great deal of variability as well.

For example, I'd can Scarborough's ass this very minute and give Olberman a raise. I'd fire Howard Kurtz in a freaking second. But, I think Barbara Starr does a good job, breaks a lot of pentagon stories and deserves a raise.

If FOX's Studio One caught on fire, I wouldn't piss on a one of them to put them out. Geraldo and Ollie I'd shove back in if, they managed to get out. Sorry FOX, You SUCK!

So, if you were the newly appointed God of "THE MEDIA", who would you reward and who would you punish?

7. I have my own theories about AB
I actually think he's a true progressive that is well aware of what is happening in the media around him. He stays because he likes to slip in little progressive tidbits and give people something to think about while they're slurping down the latest propaganda.

Of course that's just a theory, I could be wrong. Which is why I would place him on probation.

3. Fire them all -- theres nothing about Gannon on radio and TV
I tuned into a couple of top of the hour newcasts on both radio and TV, and there was nothing. There should be some followup on the TV plant angle, and it could be presented without salacious photos.

But theres nothing . . . nada . . . zilch. Fire the buggers. All of them.

4. First, I strap on the elbow length gloves
and I just fumigate. All the pundits--Hannity, O'Reilly, Brit Hume, Nofacts and BowtieBoy go.

Next, I shitcan Matthews just because his blond hair and his ass-kissing annoy the shit out of me.

I replace Fox News with AAR TV, giving Al Franken and Randi Rhodes their own shows. I drop Scarborough from MSNBC and give Keith Olbermann a raise.

Finally, I offer Jon Stewart a HUGE raise and a position on any of the major networks with his own show.

10. The entire Faux crew would be packed off to Gitmo

along with Limbaugh and the rest of the right-wing media radio whores. Let them find out first hand if prisoner abuse is really just no worse than "fraternity" stunts.

CNN--Aaron Brown can stay, the jury is still out on Anderson Cooper, and the rest, especially Judy Woodruff & Whore Blitzer should be packed off to Gitmo with the Faux Crew.

MSNBC-Keith and Ron Reagan stay. Everyone else--out the door.

And I think Keith Olbermann & Jon Stewart should be responsible for "re-educating" the rest of the media.
