Poll question: How Would You Rate This George Bush Magic Eye Image?
Edited on Mon Feb-14-05 12:38 PM by DistressedAmerican
Just fine tuning this short animation and thought I'd solcit some comments.

So, on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate it in its current form?

Are there any frames you would like to see added? Other suggestions?

Just realized I could use a 9/11 frame...

DA

1. Very good - just a couple of changes
Don't include the part about putting your nose up to the screen. I actually DID start to do the focus/no-focus thing to start seeing the traditional "magic eye" image, and was unprepared when your image came up.

Along those lines, if you could make the images fade in / fade out, that would probably make it look nicer.

2. Fade is a great idea! Thanks!
Sorry about the other thing. Just part of the joke.

3. People familiar with Magic Eye expect only one image
Perhaps a series, each "background" having one * theme.

4. I used screen shots for the SOTU for this and have a BUNCH more.
I do have a bunch more of the cropped images I Used for this background. I was torn on which to use. Maybe I'll go with that.

5. Very cool.
I found the 3-D Chimpy background very disturbing, though.

6. Yeah, Don't Stare At It Too Hard.
It does some strange things. Best taken in small doses.

7. By Way Of Credit, I Got The Morning Looking At A Box Of Nesquik
Edited on Mon Feb-14-05 01:45 PM by DistressedAmerican
Here's their image. I saw it just fine on the box. For some reason I can't see it in the scan. I really do not understand the optics behingd these things but, it would surprise me if scanning it made any difference.

So, if you got all excited about seeing a 3-D image, here you go. Knock yourself out. Hint: glass of milk

If you liked that feel free to visit their site: http://www.nesquik.com/

8. I certainly admire
everyone's artistic images portraying the chimp for what he is. Looks like you put a lot of work into it. Keep up the good work, wish I had the time to learn this work.
