Is anyone else angry, confused by Iraqi vote announcement?
CNN has this guy listing vote counts by freakin' provinces: 3000 votes here, 5000 votes there.

GGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!

3. CNN Hairdos are now saying "No surprise" that the Shiites are ahead.
No mention that the winners will impose a theocracy or that Allawi is losing big time.

5. There isn't a "who won" to be announced at this point.
This election was for panels of delegates that will comprise what amounts to a constitutional assembly which will appoint temporary leaders and write an Iraqi constitution. The panels of delegates will be done by percentage of votes for each of the multitudinous parties and many of the parties are regional, so that's why they're announcing the results by province.

But there won't be any announcement of a person who "won".

8. The 14m eligible is low and the 8.5m votes is high.
This election is bogus. Sistani has been screwed, see the results thread.

6. Let alone that on C-SPAN
Scully read an article earlier reporting that Chalabi is one of the front runners for a seat and that he's positioning himself to run for Prime Minister or whatever the top office is called. Neocons are busy.

7. Why do I NOT believe that?
Did Rumsfeld take lots of extra suitcases with him on his little Iraq jaunt the other day in order to help Chalabi?
