All this talk about Gannon, got me thinking about the links and ties Gannon/Guckert has to so many other rightwing players in the game to destroy America. I did some searching and came across an archived item posted by the DUer "starroute". This chart explains how the network is so interconnected that it's impossible to see where it starts or ends.

Hopefully, starroute will come along and update it soon-- it's definitely worthy of a second look.

Regarding the College Republicans, I wonder: in the 90's, Karl Rove led the effort in the state of Alabama, in which they packed the Alabama appeals courts with republicans. This was chronicled in an article in The Atlantic Online. The article was called "Karl Rove In A Corner". One of the techniques used by Rove, according to that article, was to start a whispering campaign, at the state university, that alleged that a democrat judicial candidate (Mark Kennedy) was a child molester. (Totally false allegation.) Wonder if the College Republicans were the campus people involved in that.
