5. I wish I had your optimism...

Maybe I'm being a pessimist, but I see this Gannon thing going nowhere.

The media is successfully positioning this story as a case of vociferous liberals whining about a conservative reporter gaining White-House-press access.

I don't see how this story could evolve into something.

I'm so used to hearing about "gotcha" moments with these criminal-thug Republicans--and then watching the stories fizzle into obscurity.

Maybe I'm just being a sourpuss today.

6. The media and the Monkey Palace can engage theatrical damage control

But the salacious aspect to the public is that they vetted a homosexual with little or no journalistic credibility, an individual who was in the business of luring and prostituting military men. And that just begs the question of asking how many in our military are homosexual. After all, why have the site if there aren't any gays in the military?

I think Gannon knows too much. His life span may be considerably shortened now.

7. Mr. Fake has received a subpoena supposedly to determine why

he referred to a memo that supposedly no other journalist had - all related to the Plame leak.

This is the big deal here. The press conference phoniness and cooperation, plus the male prostitution is way down the priority ladder.

This cannot go away and any politician in Washington who tries to write this off should be kicked out.

He is an insider-insider funded by insiders-insiders.

He was picked and used. He is not of his own making.

You and all of us have a role to play in keeping the Plame thing front and center.

MSM is only going to address the press credentials. It is the only safe ground. Plame - flames. Prostitution - flames.

So, if you say it will die because the MSM killed it, you must mean the press credentials part of it. The rest is up to us.
