"GOD BLESS PRES. BUSH & GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD...
DAMN you welfare bastards that wants everything given to them, that's the problem with America they want the government for handouts, blah blah, they breed kids and refuse to feed them blah blah. We had 8 years of a damn whore, Clinton, I know him...he's in my back yard blah blah. These damn half witted bastards that call in...!"....then she was cut off by the moderator.

-------

This is from an 80 year old woman from Marlow, Oklahoma that called into C-Span this a.m. That was a little too much that early in the morning, imo. I laughed but I also felt sorry for that woman. And for some reason I know the name calling was directed toward black people, although she didn't specifically say, so I could be wrong.

Sigh!

8. NO, no, it's their money!
Bush's real constituency, the ultra wealthy, really do believe that if there's a dollar in your pocket, it's really their's and they must retrieve it, whether by stealing at gunpoint, penpoint or by using the government to collect it and refund it to them.

13. Yup, yup
Sorta like when you were a kid and you paid board when you are old enough to contribute and your parents put it into your bank account so you could have it anyway. The Republican way of thinking. This is what teaches irresponsibility for one's actions. They think it is their rightful course...to have their cake and you pay for it. This is a country run by sick people. They will eat thiemselves up eventually.

14. Why is it never God bless the world?
Edited on Wed Sep-10-03 09:31 AM by Woodstock
Are Americans God's chosen ones?

Or does God draw the line at blessing only Bush-supporting Americans?

How does God like being told who to bless?

Why do I have the feeling that if God decided to bless anyone, it wouldn't be these prejudiced, selfish, corrupt, war mongering fools?

16. IMO, the "mod" should have cut her..........
off right away. The woman SEEMED so nice, sweet and frail as she began. Typical CON behavior. I have to say she shocked me and I'm not easily shocked by anything I hear from their side. But she, and others like her, think they will be sitting up there at the pearly gates shooing away the "libruls".HA!!

17. " . . . and God bless Mommy and Daddy and my puppy Clover . . .
and my first-grade teacher Mrs. Johnson and my brother Peter and Dick Cheney and my goldfish and the United States of America, blah blah blah."

These are the true believers who support Bush, and logic, facts and common sense are going to be of no help at all come next year. Blech.

18. She's going to be shocked when she dies and goes to HELL!
Edited on Wed Sep-10-03 11:18 AM by corarose
Imagine this:

The b*tch dies and she feels like she is going down a tunnel and she has that dumb ass smile on her face like I am so godly.

She arrives in hell and she is put in a room with a 24/7 look alike of Monica duing the deed on President Clinton.
After 100 years of that scene she gets a chance to get out of hell and she is reborn again as a poor minority kid living in a high rise like Cabrini Greens.

19. People like this lady are the reason that the GOP is in trouble.
In order to make people like her happy, the GOP must use campaign rhetoric the in many cases is nothing more than thinly veiled racism. The problem is that the objects of this racism are not fooled and as a result, the GOP does very poorly among minorities, but the electoral math in this country is changes. In order to win presidential elections and have a chance to control the house and the senate, the Republicans will have to abandon their thinly veiled racist rhetoric, but in doing so, they while loose the lock that they currently have on their racist base.

This is why the Republicans have been acting so deperate lately. They know they have math problems and they cannot figure out how to make the numbers add up.
