One thing that $87 billion could buy.
I read in the st. pete times yesterday that hospitals lose about $38.6 billion a year treating the uninsured.

$87 billion could buy almost 2 1/2 years of care for the uninsured.

He rebuilds Iraq when he didn't have any evidence to break it down but now we have to let our own infrastructure crumble while we go it alone on Iraq. Doesn't make sense, does it?

2. I hope not either
I venture to guess in the very near future, he will be asking Congress for even more money to give to Halliburton.

5. No doubt
Health care system crumbling, roads deteriorating, 1.4 million more people in poverty than last year. Paradise, huh? I'm being sarcastic.

7. The savings would be great.
Some things just should not be for profit. Health care is one of them. And it jives with our god-given right to life.

8. It could buy me...
a nice house and a new car, too, but there's as much chance of that as these assholes spending the money on anything that does any good.

9. And on top of all this
Congress voted themselves a raise again. So much for sacrificing for your country.
