Bob Novak (followed by a few other media outlets) reported that they were told by someone in the 'W' White House that a man critical of the White House got his job because his wife, Valerie Plame, an executive in the international business community was secretly an undercover operative with the CIA. So the White House either (1) ruined this woman's career with a false allegation or (2) knowingly blew one of our spy's covers just to get back at a critic.
