Picasa from google - your opinion????
http://google.picasa.com/

A free software download from Google.

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized.

Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures – you can email, print photos home, make gift CDs, instantly share via Hello™, and even post pictures on your own blog.

4. Picasa
Yes, I will definitly agree it is good software. We have been using it for sometime now which was the original Picasa. I just moved to Picasa 2 and it looks like even more improvements.

Wish I had waited now, paid for the original.

6. well, I just downloaded and installed it...
...and it looks pretty handy. I certainly found pictures I'd forgotten are on my computer-- LOTS of them. Bunches of stuff that I abandoned and forgot about. It's a whole lot easier to use than the thumbnail interface in WinXP's file manager, and quite a bit more versatile. Of course, in some ways ignorance was bliss-- now I have to figure out what to DO with all those images!
