Bush Doesn't See Ghosts in White House
Bush Doesn't See Ghosts in White House

Fri Jan 28,12:54 PM ET White House - AP

By The Associated Press

President Bush (news - web sites), in an interview with Brian Lamb of C-SPAN that was released Friday, talked of life in the White House:

Lamb: "The longer you're in this White House, with all those that have gone before you, do you see ghosts of past presidents?"

Bush: "Well, I quit drinking in '86. ... It's just really hard to project back into somebody else's shoes. So, no, I guess I don't see ghosts."

1. He's right.
When on enphetamines, you dont see ghosts. Thats for drunkards.

Instead Bush sees Laura as Tara Reid and galloping groups of Strom Thurmond's on horse.

5. Errr.....hiccup....
Didn't we nuke Japan ....and....(hiccup)...didn't they rise out of the ashes to become our best capitialistic buddys?

Why....(hiccup)....what an example of freedom rising out of the ashes of total annihilation.....isn't it Japan that owns the majority of our national debt?...(with friends like this....hmmm...we can finance our national debt well into the future, right?)

Err....(hiccup)....I also remember something about US history in college...it was US belief in force throughout Europe....what was that called again... the Marshall Plan?....

Hmmm....I was never really good at math...but it appears to me....

US military might....+....belief in liberty = peace throughout the world.

Laura...can you read me another bedtime story?

8. If Dubya sees a ghost, I'm hoping it's the ghost of --
-- William Henry Harrison.

-- an omen that one's tenure in that residence might be short-lived.

(Harrison died in office a few weeks after his Inauguration on a very cold day...)
