What happened to Media Whores Online?
Why did they stop? And why can't I find an archive anywhere?

3. MediaMatters.org has pretty much taken up the cause
They and daily howler.

http://www.dailyhowler.com/
http://mediamatters.org/

But MWO had quite a fire in the belly!

4. The closest thing to it
is Bob Somerby's Daily Howler, at http://www.dailyhowler.com

But sometimes I think he misses the forest for the trees.

I agree, I miss Media Whores Online.

5. I'm guessing its no longer really needed
The three or four remaining journalists who aren't whores for the junta are pretty well known and the rest, well they are clearly whores and it does little good to announce it.

8. I wish a current blogger-giants could host editorials from the MWO author
The Horse had a compelling way of clarifying the big picture.

"The site that set out to bring the media to its knees, but found they were already there."

Genius.

"Media Whore Charades" alone deserves its own blogspot.
