I figured out how * can win in 2004
I was watching the speech last night, cracking jokes with the wife. When suddenly, it hit me.

All he has to do is bring the troops home before election time. Just declare "victory", and pull out. The swing voters who have been ticked off about our involvements overseas will forgive him, and we all know he doesn't need any compelling arguments to (a) move the troops, or (b) declare a "win".

So, my clever friends, what do we do if he does this?!?

2. Keep the pressure on
We remind the public about the deficit, the lost lives, the looting of the treasury to his wealthy buddies, the hatred of the world, the lost war on terrorism, etc. Keep talking, the sheeples will eventually get the message.

3. The Speech made it clear that was not going to happen anytime soon
It will be seen as a retreat, esp if Sadam has not been caught.

4. Aw, but then who would guard all those luscious oil deposits?
If the cretin chimp pulled out, the members of Halliburton's board (including Cyberdick Cheney) would personally arrive at the White House to kick his drunken ass--also, no doubt, the source of his last "pretzel" injury.

No, we're in for the long haul, my friend. The world prior to 9/11 is over. The monkey told me so last night.

5. He is more likely to drop a bomb on California.
:nuke: "Opps, their goes Cali! Terrorists attacks! Now I guess I get the majority of the votes considering that the Florida state Legislature throw out the popular vote and installed their own electors."
