Do you think George W. Bush will do a better job as president in his second term than in his first term, a worse job or what?

1. Wow... That's a Loaded Question
On the one hand... how could he do any worse!?

On the other hand... I have a feeling he's about to show us.

3. Poll not based on good sample.
But the public also wants cooperation from the Democrats. At a time when Democratic leaders are preparing to challenge many of Bush's major initiatives, nearly seven in 10 Americans agree that Bush's victory means that congressional Democrats should compromise with him -- even if it means compromising on their party's principles. Only one in four said Democrats must not compromise on things they find objectionable, even if it means less gets accomplished.

If seven in 10 polled thought Democrats should compromise, the poll did not include many Democrats. Not to be trusted. I don't know any Democrats who think Democrats should compromise with Bush.

4. It definitely suggests that this was not a 50-50 sample.

5. How the hell are we supposed to answer that question? The first term was
a disaster and this one will be one too.

It seems pretty close to the "when did you stop beating your wife?" question.

8. Has to be better, right? I voted worse anyway
In any political conversation I always say "How can his second term be any worse than the first?". I only say this to emphasize what a horribly, shitty job Bush did the last four years. But I frankly believe he will do a worse job w/o another election hanging over his neck.

Historians will indeed judge him as "The Worst president Ever"
