What is a good secular name for the religious right?
I've seen religious people get confused by the term, thinking it applies to them when it doesn't. I use the term here all the time, but that's because everybody here knows exactly what it means. Is there a good secular term for the religious right?

8. I'd say let's stick with "religious right"
It's been my experience that the only people who have a problem with the phrase are those who WANT to have a problem with the phrase.

21. I like it. They are the same as the "Islamofascists"
Which is a word that the right wing seems to love.

And, when it comes down to it, there isn't much difference between the fundies on the "religious right" and the Taliban.

18. CINOs
After all, the only Christian about any of them is the name they've stolen for themselves.

They've eliminated Christ in favor of Paul and the more vicious passages in the OT.

27. Pharisees
I Agree. This term is the most insulting to them. It is also true, and could make some of their followers think.
