who wanted to kill arabs. A lot of people I know personally saw 9/11 happen and felt it was almost like their call of duty, I know to many that may sound silly but it was to some in my generation what Pearl Harbor was in 1941. The reason why I have a hard time with people bashing the troops like Rall is that many of those people are around my age and I understand them I think as someone of age way better than Rall, I dont claim to know the motives of everyone but I do understand my generation better than Rall I think.

There are some serious ignore lists in some of the more contentious forums here at DU - the people that rarely visit the Lounge have long-standing ignores. I find those that at least "play" in the Lounge have more relaxed attitudes about other posters.

I've only worked in one restaurant, and it was tiny. There were only three employees (counting the owner/operator) so there wasn't much of a bureaucracy. Heck, even I, the dishwasher/prep cook/busser, got a say in management decisions!
