The Secretary of State of Tx will not answer my emails
about Diebold electronic voting machines. I wrote and said that the Diebold electronic voting machine totals can be changed remotely with Microsoft Access. They do it with wireless transmission. No answer. I will try a few more times and after that I am going to forward the emails the the Austin American Statesman newspaper. Bev Harris is the woman that is changing the way America looks at voting.

6. hi bearfan!
I have had the same non-response from my SoS here in NC. I will keep mailing, as I have my local and state election officials. At least they have replied to me, although with a pat on the head, nothing to worry about here answers. :eyes: My next step will be letters to the editor of several newspapers in NC. Keep on fighting bearfan!

7. It could be worse
Someone explained in a college paper column he wrote that he had once wrote Bush I, asking for details about the Clean Air Act, and that he got in response a 7'*10' photo of him and Barbara. He added that he turned the photo into a dartboard.

8. A suggestion...
Contact a local civic organization and ask them to hold a town hall meeting about the electronic voting machines. A question and answer session.

The SoS will have no option but to show up to answer questions.

Do this in every town in the state.

Make them give you answers. Get them on record. The more public the answers are the better.

Your concern about electronic voting machines are very valid and deserve an answer. They can ignore private emails, they cannot ignore public town hall meetings.

9. Use certified mail.
Then send a copy to sevral newspapers. You might also want to forowred this to a Dem canadate. The point of certified mail is you have conclusive proof you sent the letter, and that the person receved it. (Proof that will stand up in court.) It will take some money, but this will be worth it.

12. Ah, thanks for the corection.
Something eles that is also inportant. You can not conferm the contents unless it is noterized. Sending it certified dosn't mean you can prove to the judge that you sent THAT spisifc letter. But that may be a bit more security than you need. Unless you were to level a spisifc charge or acusation. In which the leter will likly have legel waight (Meaning that you wrote it, expecting it to show up in court eventualy.)
